Our\u00a0workshops can\u00a0<\/strong>introduce the essentials of game design, get people experimenting with\u00a0physical game design, help participants\u00a0understand\u00a0how to evaluate game ideas and commission games, or address\u00a0the processes of developing games through iterative playtesting. We also develop and run\u00a0custom workshops<\/strong>, including a workshop for\u00a0Historic Royal Palaces<\/a>\u00a0on understanding the potential for narrative physical games, a workshop\u00a0for Discover Story Centre<\/a>\u00a0around the role game design can play in encouraging play and storytelling, and\u00a0workshops for young people at NFTS and Wellcome Collection.<\/p>\n We\u00a0consult on other people’s projects<\/strong>, whether that means helping to formulate a brief,\u00a0working on game design and writing across a project’s lifespan,\u00a0providing feedback and advice on an active project or helping to provide a wider context for a games project. This has recently included working with\u00a0Chromatrope<\/a>\u00a0on a prototype for a digital game for the BBC, and for Sesame Workshop<\/a>\u00a0on design for physical games with learning outcomes.<\/p>\n We often speak at events<\/strong>, dealing in particular with physical play and site-specific game design.
